Our first stop was Alvarado campground outside of Westcliffe, CO.
I helped with dinner, as you can see. Salmon cooked over the camp fire.
We left Alvarado and headed to Pagosa Springs. We stopped at the Great Sand Dunes National Park on the way.
You have to cross this little stream to get from the parking lot to the dunes. While shallow, it is VERY cold!
It was also very windy that day.
