1999 Father's Day
Colorado Raft Trip
Return to home page.

Fathers day weekend 1999 Norman, Catherine and the Kellers floated down the Colorado river in Norm and Catherine's raft and other assorted craft. It was a great time. The air temperature was hot hot hot (upper 90's is my guess) and the water was cold cold cold (you could only stay in for a couple minutes). So between the two it was quite nice. The current is moderate, with little or no rapids so all we had to do was put lots of sun screen on, paddle to stay in the middle of the river, drink beer, and if you got too hot, jump overboard. Can hardly beat it!

All packed and about ready to shove off.

Kids overboard! This is how we cooled off.

You don't know the meaning of the word HOT!

Cooling off ...
