Then the 17th we drove up to Quebec City and stayed two nights at "Camping Transit" campground.
We had a great dinner at a little French bistro called Blue Citron, about a 20 minute drive from the campground.
The morning of the 18th we drove to the ferry terminal and took the ferry across the St. Lawrence river to old town Quebec city.
There was some sort of fair going on down at the ferry terminal.

Old Quebec city is a very cool place.
Back in 2008 when Sarah graduated from McGill, the four of us drove up and spent a couple days visiting old Quebec city.
I found the location of the 2008 picture and put Barb in the same spot. Note it was raining both times.
